Corpus Christi Dog Owners Group and Supporters CCDOGS (ccdogs.org) is a not-for-profit organization started by local dog lovers for the creation of off-leash space designated as a dog park. We envision the park as a safe place for dogs and their owners to socialize with one another within a fenced area. Currently the City of Corpus Christi Parks Department listed the creation of a dog park as one of its top 10 priorities for the near future. At the first public meeting held by the parks department over 60 people from the public showed up to voice their opinions, concerns, and support for a dog park. Community involvement and support will be absolutely necessary as funding will primarily come from private donations and fundraising, Become an Active CCDOGS member. CCDOGS currently are looking to fill the following positions Treasurer Public Relations/Media Coordinator These positions are strictly volunteer/non-paid positions.
